Clearlii's responsibility doesn't stop at our own walls. We expect every supplier and manufacturing partner to uphold the same standards of ethics, quality, environmental care and human rights that we hold ourselves to. This Code sets out what that means.
Ethics & integrity
Zero tolerance for bribery, corruption or unfair business practice. Honest dealing at every level.
Labour & human rights
Safe conditions, fair wages, no forced or child labour, and freedom of association—without exception.
Environment
Responsible use of resources, proper waste handling and continual reduction of environmental impact.

Full compliance with CE, ISO and all applicable medical-device regulations, on every batch.
Our expectations in detail
This Code applies to all suppliers, manufacturers, contractors and partners who provide goods or services to Clearlii. By working with us, partners agree to meet these standards and to extend them through their own supply chains.
1. Legal & regulatory compliance
Partners must comply with all applicable laws and regulations in the countries where they operate, including those governing medical devices, product safety, labour, the environment and anti-corruption. Where this Code sets a higher standard than local law, the higher standard applies.
2. Labour & human rights
We require safe and healthy working conditions, working hours and wages that meet or exceed legal minimums, and employment that is freely chosen. Forced labour, human trafficking and child labour are strictly prohibited. Employees must be free to associate and to raise concerns without fear of reprisal.
3. Health, safety & quality
Because our products touch the eye, quality is non-negotiable. Partners must maintain robust quality-management systems, full traceability, and compliance with CE marking, ISO standards and applicable medical-device directives. Manufacturing environments must meet the cleanliness and sterility our lenses require.
4. Environmental responsibility
Partners should use energy, water and materials efficiently, manage waste and emissions responsibly, and work with us to reduce the environmental footprint of the products we make together.
5. Monitoring & improvement
We may assess compliance through self-assessment, documentation and audits. Where gaps are found, we work with partners on corrective action and continual improvement. Serious or persistent breaches may end the partnership.
