Why does oxygen matter for my eyes?
The cornea has no blood vessels, so it relies on oxygen from the air. Low oxygen (hypoxia) can cause redness, swelling and long-term complications. Silicone hydrogel ensures optimal oxygen supply, even in thicker lenses for higher prescriptions.
Can I sleep in Clearlii lenses?
Unless specifically prescribed, no. Even with silicone hydrogel, sleeping in lenses reduces oxygen availability and increases infection risk. Always follow your optician's recommendations.
